I want to check the probably hilariously bad history of my 500 dollar 924 which I haven't done yet but I'm not too keen on shelling out however much these websites want.
If someone could hook me up with a report I would be very grateful. Thank you fellow gear heads.

Here's a pro tip: eBay gives out free checks on the first 3-or-so cars you list for sale. (or at least they did last year when I sold a couple cars.) They also don't charge anything to list anymore, only to sucessfully sell. So all you have to do is list it on ebay with a $10,000 reserve (or however much you'd actually be willing to sell it for, that nobody in their right mind would be willing to pay), and you get a free background check out of the deal.

As I said elsewhere, it's an '82 924. it was in Closter, NJ until 1998 (records only go back to 1996). From Closer, it moved down to Fredricksburg, VA until 1999. it was then off the road until 2005. Moved to Bergenfield, NJ in 2005, then to Little Ferry, and then Hewitt in 2010. does not appear to have been registered since. No accidents listed, nothing like that.

Hm that's strange. PO said it was a "cali" car but I doubt it. The title says it has 1 Owner which apparently a lie. I'm glad there's no accidents listed I guess! Thanks

Also strange is that inspection is from 2005 and so is title. HMMMM. I bought it in bergenfield.

For the record, the title is only listed as changing once. it could be a one-owner car. it does not appear to have changed hands since 1996-2005.
